Bringt das Leben zurück in unsere schöne Stadt
Am Samstag, den 14. Juli 2018 werden wir, zusammen mit Musikern aus Bonn und der Umgebung, in Bonn für die Abschaffung der Gebühr für Straßenmusikanten in Höhe von 25 Euro demonstrieren. Die Gebühr würde kürzlich von 10 Euro auf 25 Euro erhöht.
Wir setzen uns für den Erhalt einer kulturellen Vielfalt in Bonn ein, damit sich auch zukünftig junge Musiker ohne große Hürden beim Musizieren auf Bonns Straßen beweisen können und damit diese Stadt auch wieder an Attraktivität für junge Menschen gewinnt. Ein entsprechender Bürgerantrag zur Abschaffung der Gebühr wurde bereits bei der Stadt eingereicht.
Ablauf:
Wir werden uns mit unseren Instrumenten um 14:00 Uhr in der Innenstadt von Bonn verteilen, aber nicht spielen. Es wird zunächst ein stiller Protest. Stattdessen hat jeder ein Schild oder Plakat bei sich, mit dem er auf die Gebühren der Stadt Bonn aufmerksam macht. Um 15:00 Uhr treffen sich dann alle Musiker auf dem Münsterplatz, um gemeinsam vor dem Beethoven-Denkmal zu demonstrieren und vielleicht ein paar kleine Lieder zu singen.

Bring life back to our beautiful city
On Saturday, July 14, 2018, we will demonstrate in Bonn together with musicians from Bonn and surrounding areas for the abolition of the fee for street musicians which is currently set at € 25 Euros. The fee was recently increased from € 10 Euros to € 25 Euros.
We are committed to successful cultural diversity in Bonn, which will also allow future young musicians to play music in the streets of Bonn without much hassle or red tape or indeed financial ruin. This will ensure that the city regains attractiveness for young people, especially those who are musically inclined.
A corresponding citizens‘ proposal request for the payment to be commuted has already been submitted to the city council (and has been granted a hearing on 29th August at 18:00 hrs in the Ratssaal in the Stadthaus Bonn.)
Procedure for Saturday 14th July :
We will distribute ourselves individually with our instruments at 14:00 hrs throughout the city of Bonn, but we will not play them.
It will at first be a silent protest.
Instead everyone will have a sign or a placard with them to draw attention to the current charges applied by the city of Bonn, were these instruments to ever be played. Heaven forbid, in situ.
Afterwards, at 15:00 hrs, all the musicians will meet on the Münsterplatz to demonstrate together in front of the Beethoven monument and to perhaps sing a few little songs.
